In addition, I believe there is value in these two things too:
- ability to subscribe to the whole calendar: a link on Graph (with authentication) that can be added as an “Internet Calendar” in Outlook so that changes are reflected instead of a one off shot. If I can dream: it would allow all $filter to let my personalise it 😉. Things to filter on are id, seriesMasterId, startDate and endDate
- ability to subscribe to a specific event, but that might be covered by a subscription on the whole Calendar and then putting a $filter on it.

What kinds of things are you trying to do that involves Client Credentials?
In one of the comments below, someone mentioned wanting to provide managers an overview of the work in their organization.
For that scenario, did you try using a service account?

showInAddressList filter support for User object in now under consideration.
We will update the status when we will have more info to share.
PS: The Group object property hideFromAddressLists is from Exchange service (not AAD), and currently doesn’t support filtering.
