Expand the Graph Open Extension limitations
I'm attempting to use the Graph Extensions for my user data and keep running into limits put in place that I feel are too small. I either hit the 2KB limit per extension, or when I try to break it apart into logical extensions, I hit the error: "Maximum number of extensions values supported per application is 2"
I can provide our business case if needed.
The team is evaluating whether to increase these limits.
It's been almost two years since I posted this, so my memory may be a little off, but one of the things we wanted to do was store information about an employee's past work that doesn't fit under their work history.
It's hard to say what a good number of extension values would be for logical extensions. I'm not sure why there needs to be a limit at all if you could keep all combined extensions under a set threshold. So if I wanted to have 20 extensions that are all relatively small or 1 extension that stored more lengthy data, I could do so.
I'm an end user, so obviously I think an acceptable limit is unlimited :)
That said, when I was storing data, I ran into the limit on about 10% of my records, so I imagine even increasing it to 10K per extension would be beneficial. However, asking an end user what limit they think should be put on their data is not likely to gain you any useful information.
What limits are acceptable for your scenarios? Can you update the idea with more details please?

Agree this is far too restrictive to be used effectively. For example if we want to add additional user profile data like a short bio we easily hit that 2k limit
