  1. Add ability to add/edit/update Teams meeting roles from the Graph API

    Using the graph API you can create a new Group Event /groups/{id}/events/{id} however because it's in a group, you're unable to set the Organizer of the event because it will always be the group it's self.

    This leaves the only 2 people that can change the 'meeting options' (via a link in the calendar appointment)
    - Organizer - This is the group itself (the group doesn't have a login - so it's not an option)
    - The Owner - The account who run the API call to create the event. If this is a service account, then this isn't an…

  2. Allow / Add onPremisesSamAccountName as a filter

    It will be very interesting to allow filter by onPremisesSamAccountName in users endpoint.

    his capability is now available in Microsoft Graph public preview. It’s not currently documented.

    NOTE: you’ll need to use a custom HTTP request header ConsistencyLevel: eventual and request $count=true as well, to enable this query capability.

    GET ../beta/users?$filter=onPremisesSamAccountName eq ‘name’&$count=true
    ConsistencyLevel:eventual

  3. Expose Office API via Swagger.

    OK this is a radical idea from listening to @mkristensen talk about VS.NET tooling and how they are looking at supporting Swagger 2.0 to provide code generation for RESTful APIs in VSNET.

    http://devchat.tv/adventures-in-angular/019-aia-microsoft-tooling-with-mads-kristensen

    I looked up Swagger and their online documentation editor, and browser and here's an example

    http://petstore.swagger.wordnik.com/#!/pet/updatePet

    Which is surprisingly similar to Office 365's

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/dn600182(v=office.15).aspx

    I think Office 365 documentation on MSDN should still be the primary resource. Any future tie in to API-Sandbox would be awesome.

    But if VSNET starts to support auto-codegen (like the old days with WSDL/Soap Services) from Swagger documentation, then I can also…

  4. auditing

    Graph API : How can we Audit mailbox access by Application Permission AD apps that have been granted admin consent. We are logging client-request-id, request-id, timestamp and x-ms-ags-diagnostic from the HTTP response headers of Graph but we have to reach microsoft to get details of these calls.

    For an Azure AD/Office 365 admin, Graph API audit logs should be available in Security and Compliance section.

  5. mailbox permissions

    Graph api should introduce an alternative for getting mailbox permissions info that is provided today by powershell and EWS.
    example:
    PowerShell: Get-MailboxPermission

  6. Add support for wWWHomepage

    Microsoft Graph cant return the wWWHomePage property that people know from regular AD. We need to access this field in a business case and cant do so, because of the current limitations.

    Please add support for wWWHomePage on the User object!

  7. Add $filter support for OneDrive for Business

    When requesting the children of a OneDrive for Business folder through the Microsoft Graph API, adding a $filter query parameter is currently not supported.

    Repro:
    https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/me/drive/root/children?$filter=folder ne null

    Result:
    {
    "error": {

    "code": "notSupported",

    "message": "The request is not supported by the system.",
    "innerError": {
    "request-id": "7643cbce-1934-4b46-8bd9-e81cf412e810",
    "date": "2016-10-21T08:38:15"
    }

    }
    }

    Please add support for filtering.

  8. Office365 API: Allow to create, get and update Contact Lists, not only Folders

    We can create contacts and add to folders (not considering the bug we have there https://officespdev.uservoice.com/forums/224641-general/suggestions/8560312-office365-api-contact-is-not-added-to-specific-fo)
    but we can't create contact lists programmatically.

    Please, can you consider add this to the API?

  9. Allow to set the background color of your app in the O365 app launcher

    Currently the color is grey by default and will most likely not go well with all types of icons SaaS apps will come in. Being able to define the own color would allow a SaaS app vendor to also use that color for identification purposes etc.

  10. Allow us to write sensitivity label in Group properties via Graph API

    assignedLabels:
    The list of sensitivity label pairs (label ID, label name) associated with an Office 365 group. Returned only on $select. Read-only.

    Please give us the option to set/write/delete/modify a sensitivity label on a Group / SharePoint Site / Team.

  11. Better support recurring calendar event exceptions

    When retrieving a list of occurrences for a recurring event (/me/events/{id}/instances), the result is lacking some critical data regarding exceptions. In particular, we need to know the original date/time of an exception, so that we can match it with the original occurrence. Also, there is no information at all about deleted occurrences.

  12. Variable throttling limits depending on license or app

    When we need to get data out of O365 speed is important. The throttling is excessive. Suggest something in the line of E3 4X  standard E5 10X standard. You could even limit the increase to the app IDs of certain level of partners.

  13. sharepoint listitem $filter support on fields

    It is currently impossible to filter list items by their title or any other field via the Graph API.
    Adding support for list items filtering on fields would help query list items.
    Example of query
    https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/sites/{siteId}/lists/{listId}/items/?$expand=fields($filter= Title eq 'value')

  14. Allow internet message headers that are not prefixed with X-

    The /v1.0/me/sendMail endpoint allows the user to specify custom internet message headers, but requires that each header begin with “X-“ or “x-“. Please relax this requirement so that we can add other common headers like “List-Unsubscribe” and "List-Unsubscribe-Post".

    See also the conversation at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53430459/list-unsubscribe-header-in-microsoft-graph-api-is-not-working/53677375#comment99402693_53677375

  15. Return message ID in response of send/sendMail

    The APIs to send an email and message feel incomplete: as the response is empty it's impossible to track the ID of the new message.

    Working around this limitation requires the following steps:

    • creating a draft

    • fetching the internetMessageId of the draft

    • actually sending the message

    • querying the list of messages to filter the desired internetMessageId

  16. Whiteboard API

    Are there plans to release the Whiteboard API and Docs? I'm curious and would want to build on the great experience that's been built so far. Thanks!

  17. Add O365 Graph API to block or hold an email from sending out in Exchange Online

    Customers want O365 Exchange Online to offer the block or hold function for 3rd party security vendor to keep the email objects from sending out until inspection completes.

    O365 Graph API doesn’t offer the API to block or hold an email from sending out in Exchange Online, it exposes the risks to end users to leak confidential data and damage their reputation if improper content sent out.

  18. Graph - Provide access to ItemAttachment bytes

    In the EWS api we could download an email attachment that is itself an email (say message.eml) as a byte array, untouched. This does not appear to be possible in the Graph API. The itemAttachment is visible using $expand=microsoft.graph.itemattachment/item but only as exploded json and attachments to the itemAttachment itself are not there.

    I work in a Search and Rescue environment (lives are at stake) and from an auditing/quality/completeness perspective I need to know exactly what was attached to the email (the bytes). I think the API needs to be enhanced to provide this. Can I suggest that the api…

  19. Support SharePoint lookup fields when creating list items via Microsoft Graph

    It is currently possible to retrieve this data, but it appears there is no current way of creating a new lookup field via Microsoft Graph. Any attempt at such a call will either return 200 ok, but leave the lookup field blank, or return 400 bad request (or the like).

    Thank you for your feedback! We are investigating the technical requirements to see if we can move this to the backlog. We will post updates here as a decision is made. -EY

  20. Support more OData filters (like endswith or substringof)

    When using the 'classic' Get-MSOLUser, the -Domain parameter can be used to filter users by an equivalent "endswith(userPrincipalName, "domain.blah") filter, but this is not possible with the Graph API or the AzureAD v2 PowerShell module.
