  1. expose “lastModifiedDateTime” on user

I need to retrieve the last modified date of user profiles in Office 365 from the Graph API.

Could you please provide the endpoint similar to https://graph.microsoft.com/beta/me/?$select=createdDateTime

But have it be for the last time the user profile was modified by the user or admin, would be awesome for it to be https://graph.microsoft.com/beta/me/?$select=lastModifiedDateTime

  2. Enable $filter on group members

It's very important to be able to filter members of a group, for example to search for employees within an organization by name (e.g. 'startsWith').

  3. Allow MS Graph proxyAddress filters to specify endsWith() and contains()

Currently there is support for startsWith and eq filters on proxyAddresses. However there is no way to search for proxyAddresses that endsWith or contains a string. E.g. finding users with a proxyAddress in a specific domain.

    $filter=proxyAddresses/any(x:endsWith(x,'@acme.com'))

See this thread for more information: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46588870/filtering-on-proxyaddresses-with-microsoft-graph-api-that-endswith-or-contains-a

  4. Raise or remove the limit on number of requests allowed in a batch

A limit of 5 is insufficient for my batching needs. Please remove this limitation entirely or raise it to a reasonable number (100+).

  5. Support Azure Conditional Access for Microsoft Graph

A lot of Microsoft products does not work as expected due to the fact the Microsoft Graph does not support Azure Conditional Access. Among the applications I can mention is Microsoft Teams, ToDo, etc. that all rely on the Microsoft Graph and breaks to to limited support or no support for Azure Conditional Access.

    Teams:

  6. OData filter 'contains'

When searching a mailbox using OData QueryParams I can do
    '$filter': 'Subject eq /'Priority'/'
but that only matches where the subject exactly equals that... I can't find all mails where subject begins with, ends, contains, does not begin with, does not ... you get where I'm going... there's a significant lack of richness in the filtering (and because $search is generic and across a number of fields while it's useful, it does not give me the specificity I need)

  7. Graph SDK upload limit should be higher

Right now the Graph SDK upload limit is 4MB (http://graph.microsoft.io/en-us/docs/api-reference/v1.0/api/itemuploadcontent). It should be at least 100mb, such as OneDrive SDK provides (https://dev.onedrive.com/items/uploadput.htm)

  8. Public Folder Support in GRAPH API

We would like to be able rely less on EWS and move more processing to the GRAPH API

One critical thing we need is access to Public Folders. We need at a minimum for public folders:

    1) Enumerate Heirarchy
    2) Create/Delete Folders
    3) CRUD for items in a folder

At the moment, we use the EWS public folder API's on behalf of 500 tenants.

  9. Extensions Permission

This affects all resources that support extensions but let’s take the User resource as an example:

Extending the User resource currently requires an entire User Profile read/write consent (User.ReadWrite).
We only want to read and write additional data that we provide to the User resource and not modify the entire resource. Users might be hesitant about consenting to Apps that could potentially corrupt their entire user profile.

  10. Add support for creating chat messages on the user endpoint

In the current graph beta, user chats and their messages can be enumerated using GET /users/{id}/chats and GET /users/{id}/chats/{id}/messages. However, new messages cannot be posted to the messages endpoint i.e POST /users/{id}/chats/{id}/messages . Please add this functionality.

The desired functionality exists for team channel messages by posting to the channel messages endpoint (POST /teams/{id}/channels/{id}/messages). Replicating this for user chats using the same json payload would seem to be the most appropriate solution.

  12. Provide an API to get the user's activity stream (notifications) in Teams

We need to get the content of the user's acitvity stream in Teams. "All notifications" and "unread notifications" would be really helpful to create alternative visualizations.

  13. Provide Outlook REST API quota management

We are hitting rate limits with the Outlook REST API and there is no way to see what they are, no way to request an increase, and this appears to be the only support channel available.

  14. Add Category Color to Microsoft Graph API Event.Categories collection

The Calendar Event object contains a simple collection of category names called categories. Enhance the Event object by either:
    1. Add a property to the Event object called CategoryColor, a simple collection of the colors (hex or decimal value) for each category's color. Making the colors a separate property of the event object should make this backwards compatible.

    OR

    1. The categories collection becomes a collection of category objects. The category object has two properties called Name and Color. Name is a string and Color can be the name of the color of the hexadecimal value of the color. This approach…

  15. Change Sites.Read.All Permission Display String

Access to SharePoint data in the Graph currently requires consent to read or write to the entire SharePoint Instance. This is presented to the user as: ‘Read items in all site collections’.
Our prospects are hesitant to grant this permission as it appears like we can read all their data in SharePoint, regardless of access control settings in SharePoint.

We suggest to change the display string from ‘Read items in all site collections’ to something like ‘Read all site collection items that user can access’.
It makes it clearer at a glance that it’s limitied to user read rights and…

  16. Add/Support "Request to add members" feature through Graph API

We are missing the possibility to recreate #MicrosoftTeams 's feature "Request to add members" with #Microsoft Graph API.

We would like to be able to generate this "request" on behalf a member of a team.
This request nee to add at least the native notification inside the Teams client to help owner(s) decide if yes or no, they approve or decline the request.

At the moment it seems this feature is not available from Graph API (v1 or event beta) and more annoying it seems to be an abnormal behavior if we try to add member on behalf a member…

  18. SharedMailbox members (mailbox permissions) via Graph API

We are trying to get the members (mailbox permissions) of a SharedMailbox via Graph API. We do not see any Graph endpoint at the moment that can help us get this information. We are in the process of building a custom application where we need to be able to perform read and write operations of SharedMailbox membership/permissions. This functionality is certainly available via the exchange online powershell and I can imagine this being a critical functionality which is not yet available in Graph API. .

  19. Provide a way to create a distribution group

In Azure AD we're unable to create a mail-enabled group via Graph API.

Thank you for sharing! We’re always looking at understanding the feature sets that folks would find value in having as an out of the box feature of the platform. We’ll pass this along to the engineering teams. We’ll also update the blogs here at http://blogs.office.com with any news.

  20. Provide an API to read, add and remove saved messages in Teams

I have a scenario where when a user saves a message I want to see those messages and list them in an application.
